How to apply to a US University?
To apply to a US university, a student must first have their GPA (grade point average) calculated.
The GPA is the grading scale they use in the US to determine who qualifies for what university and falls on a 4.0-0.0 scale. the GPA will be calculated from a studentβs high school grades.

In College sports there are three main governing bodies who are further sub-divided into divisions. NCAA divided between D1,2 and 3. NAIA divided between D1 and 2, along with the NJCAA who focuses on junior colleges, again divided between D1, 2 and 3.

NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association): - Core Course Requirement: Complete 16 NCAA-approved core courses in high school. - GPA Requirement: Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.3 for Division I and 2.2 for Division II in these core courses. - Graduation: Must graduate from high school and receive final amateurism certification from the NCAA. The SAT/ACT is no longer required for initial eligibility.

NAIA (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics): - High School Diploma: Must graduate from high school and meet specific academic standards. - Minimum GPA: A minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale is typically required. - Standardized Test Scores: ACT/SAT scores may be required for eligibility, depending on the high school GPA. 3.
3. NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association): - High School Graduation: Must be a graduate of a high school with a diploma or equivalent. - Amateur Status: Maintain amateur status and not have participated in professional athletics. - Transcripts: International students must provide translated transcripts that include grades from grades 9 and up.
